Congratulations on your beautiful daughter. I wanted to commend you and your husband for being so young and so dedicated as parents.

You did not mention if you both live alone or if you have help by living with a parent. If you are living alone my advice to you is to budget, budget, budget!!

When Dh and I first started out he made around 300 dollars a week. Groceries were not too expensive because our baby was breastfed so that was not an extra expense. If you are using formula you might want to consider getting WIC as that could help to save you money. We had a VERY small apartment and with a baby that is not that big a deal. During that time we did not have cable, cell phones and we used cloth diapers to save money. There are so many ways to save it just depends on how bad you want it.

I wish you the best, I hope this can help some...if not, we do not mind lots of questions :)

Thanks for your response and btw Congrats on your pregnancy!! Yes we do live on our own paying a hefty 895/mo+ for a 1BR apartment YIKES!! I just wanted to know if anyone finds it bearable to work in the home, I would love to do that through my experience with quickbooks and when the time came i could hire a Mommy's Helper in home PT when I needed to. Any suggestions??
