Well Everyone Good Morning.
I stayed up way to late last night. I have been watching that TV show Revelations and there was a scripture from the book of Maccabees. I had never heard of that book before, so after I put Mackenzie down, I stayed up late trying to find out more about it. THen she decided to wake up a little early so up with her at 6:30 AM. I then drag my husband out of bed... and instead of going back to bed with Mackenzie like we do every morning after she eats I decided to stay awake with DH. I am on a quest to be the "Proverbs Woman" and I keep thinking about the verse.... "She also rises when it is yet night and provides food for her household" Ugh... I am not a morning girl! So while DD has been asleep I have managed to clean the house and do a load of laundry. However let me say MY VACUUM DIED!!! So I swept our carpet floor... Thank God we have a small house and the bedrooms are hardwood. Ok Ok Ok.. I should go... I have to try to finish up the yard work I started yesterday, before the storms come... Have a great day ladies!!!

Do doughnuts count as "providing food", or would that be stretching the meaning of the verse a tad??? I'm not sure that shoving a Krispy Kreme bag and a cup of coffee at my husband while half asleep is what the Lord actually intended...LOL! I understand, really, I do--I think that the whole world would be happier if we would all just start our days a little later. Anytime I let Wendell get up all alone I end up feeling guilty about it all day lol. It just wouldn't be an issue if everybody would stop getting up so dang early :) Let's start a movement!
Try not to drop before the day is out--it always bites me from behind at about 2:00, then I do my Night of the Living Dead impersonation all afternoon lol! Good luck!

Joni, My husband and I thought the exact same thing. As soon as that scripture showed we both looked at eachother and said Maccabees, what the heck? I was a little disappointed. My husband says maybe it is from a Catholic Bible. But it is definitely not from KJV. We are going to try to find out as well.
