I am awake!!!! I am watching it as well! I just saw the comment a few minutes ago about ???? Ioha?? could be wrong, anyways, the "fatigue" the office is feeling, therefore the vote count will be late...what the heck? Is that a valid reason? Goodness, I'm "fatigued" everyday, does that mean that I don't have to do the dishes tommorrow??? I've had a tough few months with renovating the new place and all, and taking care of my dd & trying to keep my dh sane (losing that battle by the way!) Can they hold off a decison on an election for 11 days as they said because they called it the 2004 "Florida" ????? Maybe because I'm not from USA, but that seems odd to me! You know well in advance when your election day is, you vote or don't, if you are "fatigued" and can't count than get another job! If I am misinturperating things, please enlighten me!!!! I don't get it!!!

LOL....I heard the same thing. I only lasted until 2ish something. My head started hurting when they started talking about all the legalities. In Nevada as well the people went home from fatigue....what? You get to be fatigued..lol.

I went to bed around 1 a.m. My DH studies political communication and is an election junkie so he stayed up until 4 a.m.

My take on the fatigue thing is that because there were teams of lawyers waiting to jump on the election that people wanted to be very, very careful and so they stopped when they became tired even though they could have continued. Perhaps having a second team to step in should be something that is considered or maybe we need to get away from the expectation that we'll know immediately. Don't get me wrong-I like the quick results but until the advent of TV you wouldn't have known until the paper came out the next day or even later. Some countries have multi-day elections so you wouldn't know then either.

Here's my election day pet peeve-I seriously think it should be a holiday. If there are going to be lines lasting for hours then I think that we shouldn't all be working (O.K. a SAHM never stops working but you know what I mean).
