Hello everyone. I haved lurked this board for awhile, but I want to get more involved (you girls seem so fun!). I'm looking for some advice. I'm a SAHM of my DS Tyler (13 months, he is GREAT). My husband and I have decided we need more $ (things are tight, I'm sure some of you can relate), but I don't want leave my baby.

I think I want to start watching kids during the day for some x-tra $, but I'm afraid I don't know what I'm getting n2. Anyone have success w/ this? Is it worth it? Can I still give my child the attention that he needs? I need advice, it seems you guys always have good advice.

Thx.

Hey Ann, welcome!! While I don't watch kids in my home, if I were in your place, I would do it. However, since you still want to spend time with your ds, see if you can find a family who only needs you part-time! Maybe 3 days/week, or short hours during the day. Then you could have the best of both worlds!!

I currently "work" at my dd's school. It is great. I only have to work an hour a day, and get paid to watch ~100 kids on the playground. I have the same schedule as my girls, and I also have the opportunity to help out at school. I'm sure you can find something that is a great fit for you.

Hugs,
Wendy
