Ok have you noticed that this is becoming a trend? Maury has done 2 shows this week with women looking for their children's fathers. The sad thing is it's not even usually between 2 men, we're talking like 5 or 6 and sometimes more!!! There was one woman on the other day and it was her 11th appearance on the show. She has 3 kids and only knows the father of one(and she found out that info on a previos show)! She was testing the 12th man for paternity of one and he was not the father! Sigh, we have condom commercials on the radio now and people still can't remember to pick them up??!! It's scary how irresponsible people are! Alright I'll step down off my soap box now.

I HATE those shows. I have seen the Maury Povich shows where they do that and it seems to be at least something he has on his show a couple times a week.
It is so disgusting. I cannot imagine not knowing who my children's father is!

You know what's sad, too? That show (or similar ones) are viewed by people all over the world, and they think that's how Americans are - instead of the sad, hopefully small, percentage. About 5 years ago, I had a student who was had come from another country and he said that people watch those shows and commented on how people think Americans act like that. Makes us all look bad, those dumb shows. Why broadcast that stuff? Oh yeah, ratings. :(
Just my two cents.

I am glad I am not one of those women. I am also happy that my kids do not have to go through that.
I feel sorry for those children.
On one of the judge shows I watch (love them), there was a woman with her current man and they had a baby they couldn't afford (forgot the details). What was memorable was that the judge asked why they had another baby they couldn't afford and her answer was that she can't take birth control and she hates condoms.
So yeah, another baby....
What really scares me is that in another 10 year or so all these fatherless babies will be old enough to have their own. It is so hard to break a cycle like that and with no role models showing them otherwise,we will have another large generation of fatherless kids probably on assistance of some sort.

It's a hard and sad world! Previously working in social service I would see lots of girls try to get pregnant (while homeless) just so they could have someone around that would love them and also for attention. I think these people just need a lot of help getting support and having people in their lives that actually care about them. :(

I know I saw that while getting my oil changed. How sad I think if I was going to sleep with that many men at the same time I might at least write the names down so if that happened.
But who would even be dumb enough to have unprotected sex!
