According to a new study from the University of Minnesota, taking care of young children can wreak havoc on your health. The study found that mothers had higher BMIs than women without children because of quick-fix meals and lack of exercise.

I am still able to exercise 5 days a week while the kids are in childcare on the gym's 2nd floor.

I dont really agree. I eat way healtheir, because I want my kids to eat healthier. And, I have been exercising more then ever in my life, because after giving birth to 3 children my body wasn't the same. But, I am almost

I find that I am more healthy now then I was when I was younger simply cuz if I make myself something to eat I have to feed everyone else so I do the "meal thing"...as for the quick fix meals, well yeah....have you tried to do a decent meal with little ones wanting you every minute of the day and they pick apart whats on the dinner table...now I just make a meal and they can take it or leave it....it is useless now...if they are really hungry there is always cheerios...lol I can find time thru the day when the kids are in school and I am not pressed for time ....I love the sahm status, I AM THE BOSS here...ha ha Susan

I don't really agree, I'm more active trying to keep up with my kids.
