Off topic, I'm looking for idea's to do with my 4year old dd....I know it's horrible but we have TV on all day long. She won't just sit and watch all day..she colors, plays, does puzzles, plays games. But I just don't know what to do with her! It's really hard to do much with the twins getting into trouble of their own. I don't go to too many places since it's hard to take all 3 alone. She does go to preschool 2 days a week from 9-11a and swimming and gymnastics once a week and Sunday school...but the times we are "trapped" inside, it's hard to keep her busy without the tv being on. And now, it's starting to get cool out, we'll need activites inside...any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Unfortunately Keri, I know where you are coming from.
I am a mother of 3 as well, though on twins :)
I lost 80# on WW after #2 (DS) and kept it off well as a LTWW...UNTIL I got prego with #3(DD#2). Now that DD is 2 I no longer have any excuses...I went back to WW last week and have about 35# to lose tog et back to LT.
How about buddying up and helping motivate and support eachother?
Let me know what you think...another mom of young ones would be helpful to swap stories and ideas with. I am thinking of ideas for your 4yo...will post more later as my toddler is needing me. BTW...is there a MOPS group in your area? Definately check it out it is a great group...I don't think I would have my sanity without it!

Amanda, I hit the gym 6 days a week. I am just now adding abs and weights to my work out. I usually just run for 45-60 mins. i also just went back to Weight Watchers, to get back on track with my eating...Are you free-styling the eating or working a plan??
Keri, How are you doing and when do you usually weigh in? I usually weigh in on Mondays, but not today. I had a meeting on Sunday night with rice crispy treats...so I worked my A@@ off at the gym today and plan to weigh in on Wed. i think the kids are just going to have to do with ut those treats for a while...I can hear them now calling my name but I am not going to answer!
Love to hear from you soon!

~GYM DAYS
At least 4 times a week my hubby and i hit the gym (our babysitter is 14 and she needs days to herself sometimes - and there is no daycare program at our gym) I first go on a couple of weight lifting machines... for my biceps, triceps, inner and outer thighs (i love thoes ones) then my abs.... just to get me started. Then i hit the bike for 20 to 30 min. or until i burn around 200 cal or more. then it's on to the tredmill for a fast pace walk for 50 cal. then back on the bike for a cool down (if i've got the time)
~OFF GYM DAYS
When i vaccum... i try to do lunges while vaccuming.... it seems to help me out a bit. Or i do legs lifts on the bottom of my stairs. I put one foot on the bottom step, lift the other leg up knee into my chest, then repeat with other leg. For my calvs i stand 1/2 of my feet on the bottom step (faceing towards the top) lowering and lifting my heels... (we did that in high school gym class it feels great).
~EATING
I'M A HORIBLE EATER!!! When i was 5 my mom left me with my dad (they were divorced) for 2 years while she had to be stationed in Turkey because of the Air Force. Because i was daddy's little girl and he wanted me to be as happy as i could be, he let me do anything i wanted, and eat whatever i wanted. he'd make me french toast with lost of syrup every morning b4 school, junk food for lunch and taco bell (my fav at the time) for dinner. He totally spoiled me, i must have been such a brat. He never made me eat anything healthy, no fruits/veggies made it to my plate, b/c i said i didn't want them. So here i am now, 21 years old, and i still don't like many fruits/veggies.
These are the fruits/veggies that i'll eat. Apple, banana, pears and peaches (from the can), carrots with ranch dressing, potatoes (regular and sweet-w/brown sugar) corn, peas (sometimes) raw brocoli (just the "tree" part) with ranch dressing. That's all i can think of right now.
Breakfast: 1 - 2 bowls of cereal (honey nut cheerios/frosted flakes/fruitloops etc.)
Lunch: Qesadilla & PB & J with milk, water, or juice
Dinner: Whatever the hubby is hungry for... mostly chicken/beef dinners (sometimes hamberger/chicken helper) Old Elpaso Gorditas... stuff like that.
Snaks... could range from sweetened banana chips, honey nut cheerios (plain), crutons, or i'd dip into the whipped cream bowl in the fridge.
See i told you i'm a horibble eater. THe only thing i've cut out of my diet since we've been in England (since Aug 4th) is Fast food, and soda. Also, i've stopped buying pringles and cheetos when we go to the store. I know that i should eat healthier and i've been trying... i just don't have the will power.
any ideas for healthier snaks or meals??
Well that's pretty much all about me and what i do to try to lose some weight. I want to be down to 160 - 180... I am 236 now... :( I don't tell many people that. Also, do you know any really good exercises for the lower abs?? I had a c section, and my muscle there is crappier than ever before!

Hey, I would like to join this weight training!
I wanted to give everyone a heads up on something I found a few days ago. It is called freetrainer.com it is really a great site. It is a free service(although you can pay and upgrade) and it gives you a fitness and nutritional profile. You can keep track of your meals(it gives you a plan made for you of how much calories and such) and keeps track of your fitness goals. It also gives you a fitness plan tailored to you. I chose the home option since they ymca where we go has horrible babysitters. It gives you exercises to use at home and shows you how to use everyday objects in your house to exercise with. You can also use the gym option and you can print out your custom made exercise routine.
Good luck ladies!
