Like, its totally Friday, or something. I'm going to totally stay home all day today, and like, look for my leg warmers......LOL!

Happy Friday gals - its 80's Friday!! And, I know none of you will actually believe this, but......I HAVE NO PLANS!!!!! I am staying home to clean today. I'm also going to work on the curtains and pillows for the playroom for the girls. I only have recess duty to leave the house for today. I'm serious! I'm so psyched!!! So, I'll be able to participate in 80's Friday today. Yippee!!!

Alright - gotta get the girls moving!!

Hugs,
Wendy

Morning, all. :) Can't believe I'm like up before 7! Totally rad! hehe I was born in 81, so most of the 80's is a blur to me. Forgive me if I don't really participate, but I will be lmao watching ya'll and having bad hair vicariously. :P (Actually, I have bad hair today anyway... lol I mean big hair, yeah, that's it!) lol :)

Today, not much going on. Alex is coming off the road today (supposedly, but it'll be awhile yet), we got paid (waaay more than I thought), and tomorrow my grandma's coming to spend the weekend. :) Overall, a great day and great weekend planned!

Wendy, congrats on the slow day! :) It's about time... You've more than earned it! I hope Molly doesn't have a problem with those boys again. MWAH to ya'll!

Thanks, Kat. She seems just fine. I think because things were handled right away, Molly realizes that the teachers won't let them get away with it. You know, funny, yesterday you mentioned that Pokemon is not violent, and then a mom friend of mine from another board said the same thing. I don't watch it, so I wouldn't know for sure, but what on earth ARE these boys watching? I saw one of the boy's moms at school yesterday and she felt terrible and apologized over and over. She is a really nice lady, and I was honestly surprised that her son was involoved. At any rate, it felt good to know that she was handling it and was apologetic. She asked how Molly was, etc. I'm sure I won't hear from the other parents. Anyhow, thanks for your support - it means alot.

I didn't even have to take the boys to the bus :) It's POURING RAIN here again, and Michael drove them to school when he left a few minutes ago. This usually doesn't happen, but he's not going in to work yet, because he's going to teach a class at the medical school this morning. So no one had to stand at the bus stop under umbrellas in the rain. It's a nightmare in the pouring rain at the bus stop, because the kids jump in puddles and don't stay under the umbrella, and I've been lame enough to drive the 100 yards in the van on days like this!

So I haven't even showered or gotten dressed or anything, and am sitting here with a nice cup of coffee with French vanilla creamer and staring out at all the wet leaves covering our back deck that need to be swept off. . . But not today!

So my husband's the Big Professor of Medicine today, and pretty much had no sleep for the past 2 days preparing for this 2 hour lecture on head trauma, siezures and spinal cord injuries. He procrastinated getting his Powerpoint together until the last minute (?? Kind of unlike him, he's generally pretty anal about that stuff), so had to cram at the last minute. But he said he's now ready to lecture for 2 hours (can't imagine!). He looked very spiffy this morning in a suit and tie though. . . Is "spiffy" an '80's word? I think it's a Nerd Word instead.

Matthew and Justin were having a physical fight at 6:30 AM in the upstairs playloft, and Justin was SCREAMING at the top of his lungs and woke the girls, so they'll be cranky all day I'm sure, since they didn't get enough sleep. Wonder if they'll nap today? That would be TOTALLY TUBULAR!! I'm soooooooooo tired of my kids fighting!

I'll be around for 80's Friday, but I need to get dressed, showered and do some laundry and call my sister and a friend of mine who's coming to visit in a few weeks.

See you all in a bit! TGIF and HAPPY 80's FRIDAY!!

Never wore leg warmers, but how about parachute pants, they are in fashion again, and big, RELAX t-shirts, and lets, see combat boots, with skirts long tube skirts, i remember, and shoulder pads, suspenders, mens ties, hats, it was a goofy time, but, i remember it well, and with fondness.
Anyway, it is like 4:30 pm, here so i have been up a while my daughter has not slept this afternoon , yet because she woke up later than usuall, we went out already, and she got some sun.
Like oh, my gosh, that is totally....like totally

Good morning, everyone. I'm so sad I won't be around for 80's friday!!:( Too much going on around here. Dh and the kids had yesterday and today off. Yesterday he had to be on call all day and then he and I had a date night (yay!). Today I have so much to do and then I go to work tonight. I'm more than a little scared, ladies. Up to this point I've just had orientation, tonight I'm going to be expected to be smart!

Tomorrow I'm going to the OSU football game with my mom and then if it's nice we'll take the kids to pick pumpkins. Then on Sunday we're spending the day with my IL's and then my mom will be up to visit. And then Monday morning I have to take all the kids to the dentist. Soooo I won't be around much until lunch time on monday, most likely.

Have a, like, totally awesome day!!
