Happy Friday, ladies!! I'm feeling quite relaxed this a.m. Nobody has to be anywhere at any particular time!! I have to do some stuff to get ready for the slumber party tonigh - yes, I said I'm having a slumber party for Katie tonight. Her friends are coming at 6p.m. We will have pizza (have to go pick them up at Papa Murphy's today). Then I have some craft projects for them to do. We will also decorate some treats for them, to go with their ice cream. Since dh has an arcade in the basement, they will spend time with that. We are also going to rent the movie "The Wild" and my neighbor is loaning us Over the Hedge. So, we will have plenty for them to do. She is sooooooooooo pumped, she was up at 6 a.m.! Oh well, I'll make her rest and read in her room for a while this afternoon.
So, other than a trip to the store to pick up some final things and get the pizzas, we're spending our day at home, prepping for the party. I had to laugh at dh - when I told him that we had to stay up late tonight he looked at me like I was crazy and asked why? I said I told Katie that she and her friends could stay up until midnight. He asked what they do all that time? I asked him if he'd ever been to a slumber party. Then I laughed - what was I thinking - he has 2 brothers. There were never slumber partiesat his house. So, this will be a whole new experience for him. I can't wait to MIL about it. I'm sure she will find it all quite amusing!!
I'll check in later, of course.
Hugs,
Wendy

Once again we have nothing going on here.
Dom is already off to school and I need to shower and get the baby ready to go get him in a little bit. I need to go to the store, too, if I have time. Wendy, the sleep over sounds fun, I hope the girls have a great time!:) I dont feel like leaving my house today, we were gone most of the day yesterday, plus its cold out. I hope everyone has a good 1!
Good Morning!
We are doing Movie Day here.
It IS cold out! YUCK!!
The boys are at school, and the girls are watching Nick Jr. Tessa has a pink ballet skirt on over her clothes. She never wants to take it off. She even wanted to wear it when I took her to the bus stop this morning. She's such a little diva! How did I produce a daughter like that? LOL!
I'm sitting here drinking hazelnut coffee and picking at a big gooey cinnamon roll that Michael brought me from the hospital lobby when he got home about 45 minutes ago (he worked all night). This tradition started when the girls were in the NICU after they were born, and I would spend all day with them there, and Michael would come up from the ER and bring me cinnamon rolls. They are sooooo good, but wayyyyy fattening!
My hair is still soaking wet. I didn't take the time to blow-dry it, or put make-up on, because Michael was so tired when he walked in, and he waited to go to bed and stayed with the girls while l showered. I came down to find him crashed on the couch with them jumping all over him playing "horsie." I would have been tempted to give them some Kids' Stoned Chewable Valium if I'd had no sleep in 24 hours and they jumped on me. . . So he's now gone to bed for the next 5 hours or so.
I have a ton of things to do today, none of which I want to do. Stupid little errands like the drycleaners, post office, and getting more laundry soap. I need to find costumes for Michael and I to wear to this party tomorrow night (that I am *so* not looking forward to!!). . . Maybe I'll check in later.
Have a great morning everyone!
:)

We are having a Halloween party tonight for Andrew. So we are cleaning up for that and have tons to do before the kids come at 6pm.
I am more excited about it then Andrew lol always am. I guess cause I never had any as a kid.
I also need to go get food for the hosue and tons of laundry to put away. We went and got winter clothes for the kids and now I have to take things out of the closet for the new stuff.
Have a good Friday and weekend.
Good morning ladies! Wendy, the slumber party sounds like a blast... I can't wait to do that with Natalie's Girl Scout troop :o)
I just dropped Kyle off at the doctor's office... He has his check up with his neurosurgeon this morning, and the doctor wants to do xrays of his head, so he'll be there for a while. We'll leave in a little bit to pick him up and take him to work, then I have to get Natalie to her soccer game. I'll get the names drawn for the ornament exchange later today after I get home.
I had crazy dreams all night and didn't sleep well, so I'm about to go chug some more coffee.
Everyone have a wonderful & blessed day!
