Thanks Lesley for starting yesterdays Coffee Break!

Good Morning Ladies,

It's SATURDAY so that means NO HOUSEWORK for me! Well, finishing the laundry, but that doesn't count!

I do have a nail appointment this afternoon at 1:00 - I wear acrylics and it's time for my bi-weekly fill - and then I'll come home and we're going to put up our Christmas decorations.

Tonite's dinner is Pork Marsala over rice with a fresh batch of Honey Wheat Bread and Pumpkin Mousse for desssert.

That's our day!

Hugs,
K

Hi again,

I cook the way I do because I love, Love, LOVE to cook and bake! I find it SOOOO relaxing and love finding new recipes and playing with them. My favorite room in the house (next to the bathroom with the bathtub - LOL) is the kitchen!

Kristy Me too! I LOVE to cook. I usually make everything from scratch. I am hoping Santa will be generous this year and bring me a Kitchenmaid mixer..the one that you can add all the accesories to like the icecream maker, pasta maker, and so on! lol

Some women like jewelry...well I love kitchen appliances! lol

I am a baker too! LOVE it! When we built our house last year, I told dh I wanted a big kitchen and a walk in pantry. I got both, plus, I have an island, which I use specifically for baking. DH had one of those mixer stands built into my island. My kitchen aid mixer sits on it and when I want to use it, the shelf it is on, comes right out of the cabinet and clicks into place at counter level. I can't live without this feature - it is my favorite! I too, Love being in the kitchen. My MIL doesn't even bake cookies at Christmas anymore. And whenever there is a family gathering, I am almost always the designated baker! Sounds like you and I will get along quite well! Do you have special cookies you make every year at holiday time? I do, and I'm just getting started. I can't wait - I love this part of the holidays so much.

Anyhow, had to jump in with my 2 cents. Welcome to the board, if I haven't said that already!
