Sounds like a fun day today, Traci! You are up before me this morning!! How is your arm, by the way? Is that why you are up already? Big hugs to you on that.

My plan for the day:

Take girls to school at 8:30. Help out in the Holiday Gift Shop from 8:30 to 12:30. Playground duty, then home to make dh's Candy Bar Pie. Clean up the house a bit. My parents and IL's are coming over to enjoy the pie with us to celebrate dh's bday.

I'll check in off and on today. Have a great day everyone!!

Hey Wendy. I am usually up at 5:30 but I usually do yoga, but yeah my arm is killing me so I am skipping it today.

Stay warm today on the playground!

Good Morning Ladies,

Well - another unwelcome side-effect of my stimulant meds reared it's ugly head last nite. I didn't get to bed until after TWO and then dh's alarm woke me at FOUR! LOVELY start my day is off to huh? I know it's only cause my body is adjusting to the new meds, but two hours of sleep just SUCKS!
Luckily my only chore for today (after spending 2 hours on my hands and knees yesterday scrubbing all the tile in my house) is laundry which I've already started.
Then - at 11:30 I have to run to the clinic and have my blood drawn for a Depakote level and liver function test (that's the med I take for my bi-polar) and then run to the Commissary for some Vanilla and some Milk.
After that we'll come home and Ty and I will make some Snowman Cookies - everyone will have lunch and then EVERYONE (but especially Mama) will lay down for a nap.
At 3:20 we will be BACK at the clinic to figure out if Wyatt needs to stay on the Reglan for reflux, or if there is something else going on. I think there's something else going on and that he is lactose intolerant and needs a new formula. We'll see.
Tonite we are watching our neighbors 2 kids (yes the bully - but he's been REALLY good with Wyatt lately and I don't leave them alone together - and Tyler has gotten REALLY good at fighting back - HEEHEE) so they can go to their Christmas Party. Then next week they will watch our kids so that we can go to MY hubby's Xmas party.
Dinner will be Foil-Packed Taco Dinner served with Spanish Rice. Dessert will be the Snowman Cookies that Ty and I bake this afternoon. YUM!

Have a great day everyone!

Hugs,
K

Hi again,

Amanda - here's the answers to your questions:

What time do you go to bed? Dh and I go to bed at 10:00 - but don't fall asleep due to ummm.. talking - yeah, that's it - LOL!

What time do you wake up? Dh gets up at 3:45 to be to work at 5 and I get up at 6:00

What hours does DH work? Right now Dh is working 12 hour shifts of 5-5 including one weekend day.

I have a very strict daily schedule though and that's why I get up so early. I prefer getting a jump on the day and getting as much done as I can before the kids wake up!

Hugs,
K

hey ladies... I have a busy day today! Already this morning I've set up a blog for Natalie's homeschool for the family to keep up with what she is doing. I also have to do school work with her this morning, put on some beans to soak (red beans, smoked sausage, and rice), sweep and mop my kitchen since I didn't get it done yesterday, finish up the laundry, give all three kids baths and wash their hair, and have everyone ready to walk out the door by 4. Natalie is spending the night with grandparents, and Kyle & I are going shopping tonight... yay!!!

Thanks for sharing the pics of the snow Amanda!

Today's busy. The plumber just left. Our drains were slow, but now they're up to speed. And in about 20 minutes my dh will be home to pick us up to go bowling with his squadron. That should be interesting. And at 3:15 today I have to go see the Dr. about getting on Depo and about happy pills for my post-partum. My littlest one is only 3 months old as of 2 days ago. So very, very recently post-partum. And my hormones are nuts, which is making the whole household nuts as well. But hopefully between the Depo and the happy pills it'll even out. We'll see.

Any hints or tips on the "Nooooo" phase? My 2 year old, Aryc, is doing that. And if he doesn't like my answer, he'll spit at me or throw toys. He knows he's not supposed to play with the doors inside the house (the pantry, the downstairs bathroom, and the basement), but he still does. It's been an enforced house rule since he could crawl, so it's not new. Any tips on helping him keep his hands off? The doorways are kind of a weird size, so I can't really use gates (they don't stay tight and fall over if you apply enough pressure). I can't hook them closed and don't have the money right now for child-proofing equipment (plus, they're french door handles, so I have to special-order the locks for them). Any other tips? Maybe a form of discipline, or a game to keep him away? Anything is appreciated!

Have a great day!
