Good morning Girls!

Ahh, day 2 of spring break -- lets hope it goes better than day 1. The girls fought yesterday like crazy! Plus both today and yesterday Lys has gotten up at 6am -- just like she would for school. Except on school days I have to drag her butt outta bed! Anyways, I'm up at 6am with DH, but after he leaves for work and Alyssa leaves for school I normally have a little *me* time where I read the paper, drink coffee and chill out for a minute before I get started on the cleaning -- well the past 2 days I have had a 7 yr old harrassing me! lol

"Can I have a cup of coffee?" "Why do you read the paper?" "Can we watch cartoons?" "I promise I won't spill the coffee" "Mom, it wont stunt my growth" "Can we go outside" and on and on and on....

I swear this kid ask so many

Good morning! I had plans to go to the park with my friend and her dd. Since Mason was up all night, we have to cancel. He never does this sort of thing. And he wasn't fussy! He didn't stop making noise until an hour after I'd laid him down. Then, at 3:30am he was at it again! After an hour of that, I went into his room and hugged him and put him down, and told him "night-night". He whined for a few seconds, and went to sleep, only to wake up at 5:30am! ARRRRRGGGHHHH! At least he was just playing and talking, and not screaming his head off. He is always such a wonderful sleeper, I hope this does not continue. We will be taking an early nap, then taking Hayden to school. Oh, and I got my GS cookies delivered last night! Madison was thrilled that she got to take some for snack!

It's week FOUR of sick d/c kids for me! I am SO tired I am on the verge of exhaustion! Three weeks ago the baby had what I am positive was the flu. I had them three days that week and for all of those three days he just sat on my lap and laid his little head on me. He was SO miserable. I had to give him Tylenol and cold meds. Then week before last he came down with an ear infection while the 4 yr old had the flu. I had them 5 days that week. So it was motrin, the cold med and amoxicillan for him, cold meds for the 4 yr old. Last week he was still getting his amoxicillan while on Friday the 5 yr old started with the flu. This week I have to give meds to both the 4 and 5 yr old and I will have the 5 yr old extra days because mom isn't sending her to school. AND my ds caught the flu from them and has been home miserable for several days now.

4 yr old is so jealous and controlling that she can't stand for the others to be sick. The week the baby had the flu and the next week when he had the ear infection she threw the most horrible screaming, kicking UGLY tantrums you've ever seen EVERY single morning over getting dressed. I was exhausted before I ever got them out of their house and to mine! This week she is faking the cough because the older one has the flu! I've been listening to her this morning and the only time she has coughed is when the older one coughs! And she's being mean to the 5 yr old. I've already had to tell her to move on and leave her alone 3 or 4 times this morning!

We've been having beautiful weather so I think we will grill hamburgers this evening. I baked 3 loaves of bread and a cake yesterday so all I really need to get done today is run the dishwasher!

Have a beautiful day everyone!

I'm still coughing really bad, and I go see the lung specialist this afternoon to check for asthma. I really hope he can give me a breathing treatment while I'm there so I can feel better. I'm starting to get over the cold finally though.

My monitor is wacked out today, so I'll be shutting down the computer for a while.

I'll be back on the board tomorrow providing I'm better and my monitor is cooperating. I miss everyone!!!

I always forget to post in coffee break anywhere close to early but decided to go ahead today even though it's almost lunch. It is supposed to be almost 70 today so I promised dd's that we'd go to the park and take a picnic this afternoon. I can hardly wait just to be outside for a while. And, I convinced DH that he should grill for supper tonight since the weather will be so nice. So, it looks like I just have to finish laundry today and head to the park. Hope everyone has a great day!!!
