I have to go to the optomotrist's office this morning. They're going to tell me what kind of vision therapy Ian needs. I'm a little nervous. After they did his assessment they told me the doc would call and discuss his treatment options, then they called but scheduled another appt to come in and sit down with the doctor <>. I know he has a muscle balance problem, but now I'm guessing they think he has a tracking problem too. I hope the therapy is something we can do at home.
After that, I'll take the twins to lunch and then get them to school. I'm volunteering in the classroom today, something I haven't done in a while and am looking forward to it. Kindergarteners are so cute.
Then I should go to the store. My ILs come up one day on the weekend, usually, lately Fridays. I need to have something to make for them for dinner. Any ideas???
Good morning! I am getting ready to take dd to school. I have to go to the store. Mason has physical therapy this afternoon. My mom might babysit tonight, she hasn't decided if she wants to come tonight or Sunday night. My birthday is on Sunday and I'm not happy about it. Have a great Friday!
I have lots to do today. I have to finish cleaning the fridge out so I can do my mass grocery shop tomorrow. I also have to clean the dog room and the guinea pig today. Also have to make a list for my grocery shop tomorrow. We are getting a night out with my bil tomorrow as my little sis who is on modified bed rest is coming over to watch our kids. I will also try to call my niece and check on her this morning as she had to go home last night because she broke her arm. Kashmir
I have a billion this to do today also ladies. My little boy got me up at 7am so thats pretty craz. We usually get out of bed at 9. I have had my bath already and got a little bit to pluck my eyebrows. I have laundry to do, bed to make, and a living room to clean, oh and supper to make tonight. I dont have much of a live..LOL
hey Erin I have a recipe for catalina chicken that's really easy if you're interested... I also have some yummy casserole recipes for sweet potatoes, squash, and spinach.
I had an asthma attack last night and my rescue inhaler didn't help at all, so I was up until after 4am and slept in the recliner sitting up. Thank heavens for coffee! I need to do some laundry today and cleaning, and get a nap at some point.
Sweet potatoes, squash and spinach?! I'm imagining the look on my kids faces...LOL. I wish I could pass that off as edible. I'm very interested in the chicken catalina, though.
Just got back from Ians doctors appointment. It went exactly like I figured. He has a muscle balance problem and his tracking was so bad it couldn't even really be interpretted. Then he has some other problems with interpretting what he sees, which is hard to explain, but in 4 out of 6 areas he was deficient, testing at a 4yo level (he's 7 in July) :(. The two he did well on he actually was well past his age, at a 9yo level. Anyway, I talked to the doc about the fact he's being evaluated by the autism clinic and he seemed to think that
omg Erin my kids BEG me to make my casseroles (not even kidding lol)... the sweet potatoes taste like a dessert, and the squash and spinach ones are smothered in cheeses.
For the chicken, marinate boneless breasts in catalina dressing for several hours. I grill it, but Andrea made hers in the oven (you'll have to ask her about that one). When it's done, top it with jack cheese, and onions sauteed in butter, and pop it in the broiler until the cheese melts. You can also put diced tomatoes and/or crumbled bacon on it before you broil it. It's YUMMY!
I'm so sorry about Ian... poor little guy. At least he has a cool mom who lets him play 3D video games... he doesn't have to know it's therapy lol. I'm sure with the autism evaluations they will put him in different therapy classes and everything will come together for him... he sounds like a really smart kid and just needs a little help getting through these issues. Don't worry... he'll be fine :o)
