Good morning! Today is the first day back to school after Spring Break. I have to pick up Madison early to get her cast off, almost an hour away! That's what we get for moving out to the country, lol. I don't know if I'll make chat, Hayden is dying to go outside already. Oh, and Madison is joining Girl Scouts. Her first meeting is tonight. Have a great day ladies!
Our grocery store has some of the coolest carts -- well cool if you are a mom with more than one kid!
Instead of having one seat like the normal buggy does, their carts have two full size seats side-by-side -- plus the cart is bigger than the old ones, which holds more groceries. The best part is that the buggy isnt too big that it is hard to push or turn -- they are the perfect design.
Now if only Wal-Mart would get carts like that all would be right with the world -- lol.
Mornin, y'all! :) Today's a quiet day, I think. A few things to do, but I got most of my cleaning done last night. I guess I'm lucky in some ways...I only have three rooms to clean, two bedrooms and a tiny bathroom. But it does cut down on my cleaning time and up my chaaat time! :) Speaking of, I forget again, when is chat today? I can't wait - my first chat in over 4 months. I've missed you gals! The kiddos were really good today, actually let me sleep all night (well, after 1 am) and slept until 9:30. I think Nate (18 months) is actually sleeping through the night now, finally! He still takes a bottle occasionally, but we dilute it (only 1 scoop for 6 oz water) and use it as a delivery system for Motrin (teething) when he's half asleep. The kids need a bath today, and so do I. Dh works mid-shift, so he's on from 4pm to about 11:30pm tonight, but then off tomorrow. I hope tomorrow's nice so we can take the boys to the park. I don't live in the safest neighborhood right now, so I don't feel comfortable taking them to the park by myself. (What makes a better target than a woman by herself, running opposite directions after two toddlers? We've already met a drug dealer there, so we came promptly home, but it spooked me.) Anyway...
As far as my day is concerned, just a lot of playing with the kids, bathing them, doing dishes, and waiting for chat! :)
Ya know, I wanted to comment on some of the things you other ladies have said in this thread, but by the time I read all the pp and got to posting mine, I forgot who and what I was going to say. lol That baby powder mess sounds fun. (Sarcasm, of course. Happened to me about 2 months ago. lol)
