Kyle was feeling well enough to go back to work this morning, so YAY!!!!! I have the computer all to myself again LOL. That means CHAT today ladies!!!!

Natalie didn't get her worksheets done yesterday, so instead of the usual light day, it's a regular school day around here. I need to get my housework done, and I want to get the diaper bag ready for tomorrow. We're going to Six Flags bright and early in the morning (Kyle's work is having their company picnic there so we got reduced tickets). We're also going to get season passes... YAY!!!!

Everyone have a wonderful & blessed day today!!!

Hi, Ladies! Not much planned for today. Just laundry, baths, working with the twins on their pre-k stuff, and exercise (maybe).

Have a great day!

Good Morning!
Andrea, its good to have you back! Desiree, six flags sounds soooooo fun, I cant wait until the weather warms up here so we can do things like that. Right now Im waiting for the medical supply company to come and pick up the apnea monitor. The dr. discontinued use of it because he hasnt had any episodes, YAY! :) They said they would be here before noon, no set time, I HATE that! Im waiting to jump in the shower, but growing impatient. We need to go to Wal-Mart today and get groceries, but will probably only make one of those stores with 2 kids! My dh said he would be home from work early today, he usually gets home at 7, so we'll see...lol :)

I'm here for a Diet Coke break, as my coffee was consumed HOURS ago!! LOL! Andrea, I'm so glad you are back - I'm very sorry for you and your family, and the loss of your grandpa. I'll continue to pray for you all. HUGS!!

Took the girls to school this a.m., then I went to the store. Came home, put away all groceries, did some phone calling (seems there like there are ALWAYS phone calls to make!!), then to school for recess. Here I sit with a salad and a diet coke, but only for a few minutes. Then I have to vacuum and pick up around here. The IL's are coming by tonight for dessert, around 6:30. Low key plans for the weekend. Talk to y'all soon! (I love your accents, you sweet lil Texas gals, LOL!)

The twins are 6 in june and starting kindergarten in the fall. Kindi cutoff date was august 1st and we decided they weren't quite ready and to keep them home another year. They went to preschool august thru november, but we decided to pull them out because it just didn't seem worth the money. With both of them it was $340/month and eventhough this was doable, it just didn't make sense to keep doing it. I mean, if you can't homeschool preschool, what can you? We work on practicing writing their letters and numbers, writing their names with upper and lowercase. We practice our phone number and letter sounds. We also practice basic skills like cutting and pasting. I also try to read to them every day. I wish their reading skills were better, but we still have several months and I'm confident they will be doing a little reading on their own by then. I really don't do enough with them, in my book, but they are both going to be naturally ready when school rolls around. This extra year has made a HUGE difference.

Well Erin, Tot is two...and I have been teaching her so far, her phone number *she knows about half of it by herself, her address, how to spell her name, colors, shapes, patterns, animal names eg. the difference between a gorilla and a chimp....that they have names other than just Monkey...LOL, the correct name for other objects, bible verses.
