Today isnt very exciting around here -- it looks like a tornado ripped thru my house, so first on the list is cleaning from room to room. I also have about 3 loads of laundry that need to be washed, dried and put away. Oh Joy!!
The lawn care guys are coming out today, so after they leave and the lawn is nice and short, we might go out to play -- depending on how scorching it is here!
Tonights dinner is BBQ ribs, potato salad and salad.
Good Morning! Benjamin is finally feeling better. He had been sick all last week. We went to Grandpa's yesterday to do some laundry. He played with my dad's two dogs. He has a cocker spaniel and a siberian husky. Then in the afternoon we went for a bike ride. My husbands nephew is back from Iraq so we went to my MIL house to see him. He said he never realized how much he likes trees and grass. He was over there for a year. My sil and her family came in for the weekend to see him too. We didn't have any cookouts or anything. Kept it real simple. We ordered fried chicken from Superkmart. That is about it for our weekend.
Today I'll do two more loads of laundry. Then I need to get some groceries into this place. I didn't go at all last week. If I have time a little cleaning.
By then Benjamin will have worn out his patience with me so we will go for a Bike ride before dinner.
Makynzie woke me up at 6:30 this morning for her bottle and I decided to stay up and get on the treadmill after her feeding. I've been trying to get up and get on the treadmill in the morning because it's easier when both kids are asleep rather than having to get on and off to do this or that for either of them.
I'm going to run to Walmart today to look at fabric and get some sewing done when I can get the kids down for a nap later. I need to put away their clothes that I washed yesterday and do a load or two of laundry. Sometime this afternoon I am going to clean and re-organize Noah's room. I'm putting the hazardous coffee table in there and using it as a TV stand for him.
I'm late. Again. The kids started VBS today and loved it! They go every year and this is the first time I can recall since my son was smaller that he had a good time. I think we have found a new church. How Matthew feels about this church matters to me. He's a new Christian so I take into account his feelings about it. Dh and I really like too and the girls are happy there so.....all is good. The girls have a game tonight at 7pm and my friend said she'd be there with her guy friend. Katie hit a homerun at the last game and my friend was there as was her 1st grade teacher. They were so thrilled to be there to see it! It really gave her some confidence. thier level of play really impressed them, they didn't realized how well girls their age played ball. LOL My girls have been in coach pitch for 2 yrs now, they were the youngest on the team last year, I bumped them up a year early. Anyway, this will be the last game or the regular season. We start tournaments soon.
I had to take the girls to buy birthday presents for a girl whose party they are attending on Wednesday night. (What a bad night for a party!) They will lay down this afternoon, unbeknownst to them when my timer goes off. I need to wash some clothes cause every one is running low. For dinner I am making tortilini alfredo w/broccoli and a salad I suppose. No work for the next 2 days. YAY! They ignored my request to wokr on Tuesday and at this point I am glad. *sigh*
Good Morning!
After yet another nightly battle with Emily, I'm tired.
Good morning all!!!
Today I've got to clean up all of the junk left over from my yard sale and take it to the thrift shop.
Happy Monday ladies!
