Good Morning! A beautiful morning here in SE WI (do I sound like the local meterologist? LOL). It is 67 right now, and going to be in the mid-80's today. We are going to go grocery shopping this a.m. This afternoon, we are going to my friend's house, so the girls can play and her and I can get some stuff done for the church picnic. Dinner tonight is something quick. Perhaps pizza. Otherwise, in my free time today, I'm going to continue my work in cleaning and organizing the basement.
Hugs,
WEndy

Hi all ! I have grocery shopping to do today - am hoping to get going here pretty soon.
Good morning everyone! Well, it's not a pool day. Drizzly and overcast YET AGAIN. . . The boys have a swimming lesson this afternoon, but if it doesn't clear up, we can forget that.
My friend called me, and I wanted to invite her for a playdate--just as something for these kids to do besides go stir crazy in the house--but they're still down in my basement working (finishing touches now, thank goodness!), and my DH is asleep upstairs, having been called in to work in the night last night yet again!! Grrr. . . And knowing him, we'd be having a nice little playdate Chat with tea & crumpets (what are crumpets, anyway? LOL!) and he'd wake up and decide to come down for coffee in a state of semi-undress (no shirt, etc) before showering, not knowing she was here. I don't think that would be appropriate under the circumstances. Plus it's a little inconsiderate, I suppose, to have friends and rambunctious kids over while he's sleeping. She didn't invite me to her house, so here we are hanging out.
I feel like a freak with my husband's work schedule sometimes. How many people's husbands sleep during the day as much as mine? It kind of puts a crimp into everything you want to get done (what is a crimp, anyway?). His job rules our lives, and let me just say that right now I'm trying to swallow my frustration, because he has had about 2 hours sleep on average for days, as he keeps being called in. HE IS TOTALLY FREAKING WASTED. He has a batch of new residents (as of July 1st) that are clueless and panicking, and he has to hold their hands through everything, and I never ever see him anymore!! July is bad for us every year in this way, and I can't wait till they all gain a little experience. And I'm about to flush his cell phone/pager down the toilet, LOL! J/K
Here's a tip: Don't get treated in a teaching hospital in July or August!! You'll get all the new doctors who have no idea what the heck they're doing and might very well kill you, LOL!
So we're here, and I'm in a funk mood. I need to do grocery shopping too. I may just have to haul all 4 kids (Oh joy, joy, joy and delight!), but I'm hoping DH wakes up before nightfall and I can leave them with him, or just take one or two.
Why is it they don't make grocery carts with 2 seats for twins?? I have always had such a hard time with that. You can't let my girls on the loose in the store. Jenna will run off, and Tessa will hold your legs and get her toes run over by the cart, and whine. They will also pull things off the shelves. I've seen twin carts maybe one or two times, but they're never available or there when I go!!
Hope you all have a great day!
Sofia
Andrew had swim lessons and then we headed home and I have been busy doing laundry, dishes and trying to keep Nicholas happy
