Mornin'! No big plans here! Finish yesterday's laundry. Clean bathrooms, dust and vacuum. Oh and did I mention, WE'RE GOING TO THE STATE FAIR this afternoon! DH and I really enjoy taking the girls to this every year. They are so fun to watch, and its neat how they have developed their "favorites" over the years. Since dh works close to the fair, instead of driving all the way home to get us, the girls and I will meet him at a park and ride and we'll go together. In the long run it saves time and gas. So, after lunch today, we're all going to lay down for a little while, and then we're off!! Can't wait! We won't be home till at least 11p.m. We always stay as long as possible. There's so much to do....
I'll pop in later....
Hugs,
Wendy

And here we thought you were still busy breaking in that new van of yours!! LOL! We miss you, but understand that you're busy! Have fun at the ice cream sundae party - sounds delicious!!
Hugs,
Wendy
good morning!
i'm sitting down to my first cup of joe.
Andrew started 2nd grade today. I am so happy and sad at the same time. I will miss him being home all the time.
I think we might go to walmart and get some things, and then might do some laundry and cleaning.
Then, before we know it, it will be time to go get Andrew.
I will post some pictures of his first day at school later today, if I get the time.
It's a laid back day around here. The kids need baths but we're going to an amusement park tomorrow, so I'm wondering what the point is. I need to finish up laundry and straighten and organize the house. The clutter is overwhelming me here.
Everyone have a great day!
Erin

ROFL! Erin you sound just like me...
I have been buried the last few days y'all! I've been re-arranging furniture and doing some much needed cleaning and organizing, plus I've moved my file cabinets and storage cabinets to my kitchen and made a huge "school" area.
The cabinets are filled and organized with everything we could possible need for school for a first grader and a preschooler: paper, contruction paper, drawing tablets, notebooks, books (all kinds... workbooks, text books, reference books, story books), magna doodle, placemats with maps & pictures of the presidents, puzzles, Leap pad, Fisher Price power touch, playdough & clay, letters & numbers, Mr potato head, Lincoln logs, magnetic dress up dolls, Light Bright, Viewmaster, Craft kits, pens & pencils, crayons, markers, paint & brushes, glitter, glue, tape, finger paint, flash cards of all kinds, beads, yarn, sequins, pipe cleaners, wiggly eyes, scissors, stickers, stamps & ink pads, foam pieces, and I even put all my scrapbook stuff in there so we can use it.
Can y'all think of anything I might have forgotten? LOL
Funny thing is I didn't buy anything... this is all stuff we had literally all over the house... it's just in one central location now lol.
Today I need to finish some laundry, do some filing, change the sheets on mine & Brayden's bed, and sweep & mop the kitchen if I get a chance.
busy busy busy....
Hope everyone has a wonderful & blessed day!!!!!!
