Happy Tuesday! I know you gals won't believe this, but the only thing I have planned today is to help Molly's teacher for an hour this a.m. and to do noon recess. Otherwise, I have a couple of phone calls to make, and I think I may attempt to clean my closet shelf. Crazy, isn't it?

Gotta run - girls will be up in about 25 mins, and I want to jump in the shower. I'll check in later......

Hugs,
Wendy

I'm giving Tim a pumped bottle for Dylan, and going back to sleep. I'm just exhausted.

Good morning ladies :o)

Wendy enjoy your *less busy* day LOL
I have things to do around here, but I really don't feel like doing it... I'll probably just get Natalie started on her school work and veg out with my coffee until I have some motivation. Natalie has her yearly check up this afternoon, and that's about it.

Everyone have a wonderful & blessed day!

Good morning! I drove dd to school, and stopped off to buy breakfast for the boys. Nothing special going on today. The weather is supposed to be fantastic, so I'm sure we will be playing outside a bunch. Have a great day, girls!

I'm here, just lurking more than posting. I've been trying to be more productive around the house. Turns out it doesn't matter how much time I'm on the computer, my house looks the same, lol. The kids are at school and I'm listening to XM radio, the 90's mix.

I need to e-mail the PTO and have been frantically looking for the president's e-mail address. I can't find it! We have an annual school fall festival that includes a hayride, which I think is great, but there are some safety issues with how they are running it. They pull 2 wagons at once, one behind the other, and they're both flatbed wagons. I'm scared to death there's going to be an accident. When I was in elementary school a little boy died on a hayride, falling off and getting crushed :( His sister was in my class and I remember the grief councelors coming to the class. Anyway, I'm feeling a bit neurotic about that today and would rather e-mail the safety guidelines off the internet than say something. I'm friends with the president and actually said something to her last year, but nothing changed. Maybe if I send her something more official she'll do something about it. I've decided if they do the same thing this year, I'm going to have to get more vocal and public about the issue and I don't want to do that. I hate looking like the party pooper. The ironic thing is the pres is an ER nurse at a children's hospital. Should I really have to push her to have this taken care of????

I know, this should've been a post all on it's own, not in the coffee break folder. Oh well...

omg Erin how terrible!!!! I hope she listens to you this year... maybe you should BCC the other PTO Board members a copy of the email so they can think about the safety concerns too.

I ended up being alot more productive today than I thought I would be. I got to go back to sleep from about 8 until 12, but since then I've scrubbed my kitchen sink, washed the refrigerator, swept and mopped the kitchen floor, and bathroom floor, and did a test for one of my online classes!

I've applied for a job at some of the libraries at Duke University...please keep your fingers crossed for me!! :)
