My dd has her heart set on being a dalmation for Halloween. I have looked everywhere for a costume and the only ones I can find are toddler sizes (she's 7). So today I finally found dalamation ears and a tail...yay! Now I have no idea what to have her wear in between. Any ideas?

I dont know what your weather is like there, but if its cooler at night, and you want dd to be bundled up, what about loose fitting one peice white long john type thing, then you can sew black felt spots on it. Or a white baggy painters suit, again with spots drawn, or sewn on. Either way, she can still wear pants, sweater, jacket ect underneath it. lol, I really am not creative, nor am I a sewer, so I'm really of no help lol. If you sew, can you get a simple pattern for a bodysuit type thing she can wear? Or what about white legging/sweat pants and a white shirt/sweat shirt with dots sewn/drawn on it?

I agree with the white sweatsuit, only I would cut out black spots from felt, then use double sided tape to stick them on - that way you can re-use the sweatsuit (I did something similar to that last year, when Katie wanted to be a black horse with brown spots). Good luck!!
