A lot of my IRL mom friends (about half are SAHMs) have a "cleaning lady."

Nope, Sometime the idea of having someone come every other week and do a deeper clean sounds very appealing but no way is that in the budget.

Yes, it is totally not in our budget either, but I'd definitely love to have someone come in and do the things I just can't manage to find time to tackle. Which reminds me...I turned our ceiling fans off over the weekend and noticed that I need to do some dusting. Ew.

My neighbor has a cleaning service. Last week, two ladies came out to clean. One did the downstairs, the other went upstairs. The one who did the downstairs did fine, but the one who went upstairs only cleaned the kids' bathroom and charged her an hour. She didn't even venture into the master bath, which she was supposed to do. The kids' bathroom is a very small area, and no way would it take anyone an hour.

Maybe this was a new person, but still. For $50 per hour, I'd expect more than just a bathroom to be cleaned. Each of the ladies charged an hour to my neighbor for that day.
