Do you have this kind of headache?

For a long time I have had these headaches that are unlike any other headache. They come on suddenly with no warning or build-up and are gone in a snap. They last about one or two seconds and are usually on one side of my head or the other, not my entire head. Usually right around my temples. I get one at a time and not every day, but every few days or even with longer lengths in between. They're really strange and because they are so short I think I just didn't really think about them much.
I started doing some research and the closest thing I can find about similar headaches are called "thunderclap headaches". What's scary is that anything related to these headaches mention brain aneurysms or stroke. That's scary! I know I need to make any appointment with my doctor and talk about these just in case but I was wondering if any of you maybe have had these headaches or know anything about them. TIA!

Not to freak you out, but a friend of mine from work got those, and they ended up being "mini strokes."
I would definately call your Dr Tarra, don't take any chances.
