Don't call me crazy!

Sorry I've been gone so long, I got some sort of bug from some sushi in Hawaii, and we're just getting the runs under control, a WEEK later! (On the other hand, my jeans fit a lot looser, so it's not all bad, hee hee.) Anyhow, today I got up early because dh and I are going to sign the lease on our new apartment (YAY! After finding a half smoked joint in front of our door in the hallway, we knew it was time to go. It wasn't always like this, but the new neighbors down the hall, GRRR!) I was changing dd's diaper, a little sleepy, but talking to her. I said, "Hi!" and I SWEAR she said "Hi!" back! She's 11 weeks old tomorrow, and I looked so shocked, and she gave her soundless laughter in response. It's times like these that I swear she understands me! Anyway, I called dh at work to tell him, and he didn't believe me! It's not like I'm saying she understands me, she was just copying me, and she did a good job.

I don't think you're crazy at all...
When Hannah was 3 months old, she said her first word: "hungry"
It would be one thing if I was the only one to hear it, but it instantly became a regular part of her daily communication... it seemed to be everyone in our family's entertainment just to get to hear her say "hungry". It was kind of funny...
