after 3 days of "crisis clening" 1st. i am never going to let the house get so out of control. Second, i am never going to let the house get so out of control LOL. The party was smooth. My daughter had fun playing with the two kids that came. I got to meet my cousin who i have never met. He looked nothing like me, but, i look like my dad so he still had a look of familiarity. He was blond and blue eyed. My parents were from the north, so my alot of my familly is blond and blue eyed. As was my mother, although he is not related to her, by blood, the coloring was similar from that region. I found out i have tons of family. Well, this has opened up a whole new world for me. I am so grateful i called him. also, it was a plus to have my other family and friends there so we could have small converstions, in groups and get to know each other better.
My daughter cried during the cake, but, then she calmed down and we blew the candles again. She told my dh, that she wanted another cake today and another b-day. Next week is mine, so i am inviting her little friend over with his mommy since i am in a party mode. LoL.
Tha only thing i ate a bit, too much of the wrong foods, and blew my food plan. I figured i did damage control over the hollidays, so oh well, back to the drawing board, today. I am recovering from it all.
Otherwise nothing much going on. Hope you all have a good day, and it is still pretty nice and pleasant here weather wise. We are getting halcion, days. In the middle of winter we get 2 weeks in which it is summer, like, from Greek mythology, this is the time that perciphone came out of the earth to be with her, mother. It is an ancient belief that the seeds are growing in the earth, since Perciphone is the goddess of earth and grains, and such things. This country has alot of lore, due to a very rich mythology. From a Christian perspective, yesterday was a big holliday, as it was epiphany, and the blessing of the waters. And today, was also huge as it was St. John's day, the one who baptized christ. So the hollidays, are officially over tomorow in this country!!
gotta go take care

I'm glad everything went well with your cousin. And it sounds like there are even more people to meet. Have fun!
