omg y'all I am SOOOO thoroughly impressed with this new doctor!!! She was amazing, and so sweet!
In the time I was there, we talked about most of my medical history, especially the last 4 years, I had an EKG done, I have an appointment in 2 weeks to go back and get complete blood work done, I have an appointment to get an ultrasound done to check my gall bladder, and I will be getting a referral to see a lung specialist to find out why I can't breathe. She put me on Nexium for the ulcer, and Singulair for the allergies/asthma.
These are things I've been dealing with for YEARS, and I'm finally getting somewhere. I have some other issues I need to talk to her about, but we ran out of time (and I was there talking to her for nearly an hour and a half lol). At least I'm on the road to recovery and I feel really good about everything.
I know y'all have prayed for me in the past when I wasn't feeling well, and I really appreciate it :o)

Fabulous, Desiree!
Good for you! I will say that my ds has asthma, and since putting him on Singulair, life has been MUCH better!

Oh Desiree, I'm so happy for you! Too bad there aren't more doctors out there like that, who listen to you and take the time to help you, and who are caring and compassionate. I'm glad you found her!! And I'm really, really glad you're getting these issues dealt with. It's an answer to prayer for sure!
BTW, you know we're always an email away, right?
Hugs!!
oh I forgot to mention...
I told her about when I went to the ER 3 1/2 years ago b/c I was throwing up blood, and all they did was give me pain meds and send me home. She couldn't believe it and told me that I should have been hospitalized.
I also told her about how I went to the ER 3 weeks ago b/c of the chest pain and not being able to breathe. They ran some tests but sent me home still in pain and unable to breathe and I was sick for 4 days. She was in shock, and that is why she is sending me to a lung specialist.
I am just so relieved :o)
WHAT'S WRONG WITH THESE ER DOCTORS??!!
I'm sooooo sorry about your ER experience. It makes me feel really bad, because Michael is an ER physician! (I know, irrational, but still. . . you're my friend. . . I feel bad. . . )
Too bad you don't live closer. Michael could treat you in the ER if you needed to go in. I would make sure you got the royal treatment!! :)
Im really glad you're getting some answers! You must feel great knowing there is hope and you will be feeling better soon!:)
