First I wanted to say I hope everyone is well! I have a horrible sinus headache today and can't catch up with all the board happenings today, so I hope to tomorrow. I am also busy getting stuff together for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Our area hotels are packed with victims all who only expeced to be staying a week at the most. These people are fortunate to have gotten out but most are now running out of funds. They need diapers, wipes, food, and toiletries. Our community has been so great to come together to help! I am proud of where I live.
I let Nick my little one tell his daddy what the Dr's prediction was since Matt got to tell what Nick's gender was predicted to be. The Dr predicts this baby is a GIRL! Of course he could be wrong :) but he has a 90% guestimate rate of being right. He was right with both my boys so we will see. I am suddenly terrified to raise a girl though!
Traci

I was hoping you would say that Traci!! What did dh think? Daddies with their daughters is just the sweetest thing you ever want to see. Don't be afraid to raise a girl. We are having fun with our daughters. Although, I can understand your fear. If I suddenly had a boy (which I doubt that will EVER happen), I wouldn't know what to do. But don't worry, plenty of us have girls here, so we're happy to help. Congrats!!
Sorry to hear about your sinus headache - I get them, too, and they are the WORST. Hugs and I hope you feel better.
You are great to be helping out those in need so quickly. Here in WI, it will take a while for anything we donate to make its way down there, but we will do it.
Hugs to you and your growing family,
Wendy
YAH Taci!!!!!!
I hope he's right, I would love you to have a little girl. Are you going to have the ultrasound to determine the sex now, to make sure???
How exciting, I cant wait to find out 100%!!!!
What, a girl?
Good for you guys helping out the people in your area. I wish I could help more and open my home to some of them.
WOOHOO, IT'S A GIRL!!! Congrat's Traci! See we told ya it was going to be a girl. What did DH say? Now I can send you Aston's blue bow...lol.
That is what I did all day was go through our pantry and get some food together. I have so much formula and baby cereal I can donate. Tomorrow DH and I are going to buy some diapers and wipes as well to give. I had to stop seeing the news cause everytime I watch I just can't stop crying and today seeing alot of the babies and kids in New Orleans dehydrated and weak just breaks my heart:( I wish I could go with a boat and pick up all the children. I sure hope they hurry up and rescue them before it is too late. The little ones can not hold on as long as the adults without food/water.
