You only pay the CC % fee on what the auction close price is, not on the shipping- right?
So you now have the premier account? Actually, I'm not sure, but it's usually around the .50 mark. I know I'm not losing any money.
What do you accept for under $10.00? paypal payments, e-checks, money orders, personal checks, cash sent at the buyers own risk.
This is just me personally, but when I want to buy an item, I want it then too! I would never bid on an item that only accepts money order or personal checks. I would think by doing this for any amount would make you have less bidders- right? I didn't have paypal when I first signed up, and actually I still get alot of buyers who pay with money orders. I have had a few send well hidden cash, but not many. Most of the time it is paypal or money orders.
Where is the cheapest place to ship? Is one place better than another? I don't ship anywhere except the US, and that varies by the zipcode. So unless it is something I know will take more than one or two postage stamps, I give shipping at auctions end. Some people will email you their zip code and ask before they bid. No big deal, I package the item, go to the PO and give them the zip, they tell me what it will be.
How would you pay for an item using existing funds? You click on pay for item now, from the auction site or from the email ebay sends you. With ebay now owning paypal they already have the sellers info there for you and you just check the price, and add shipping if it is not there. POOF it is all done with a couple clicks. Then paypal will show you the transaction, and what you ahve left in your acct..
Doesn't whatever money you make selling an item go into your checking account or check card? Not unless you go to your paypal acct. and transfer it to your checking acct..
As someone else said....NEVER answer an email from Paypal or Ebay. if they are making any changes or need info from you, they will tell you when you sign in to your acct.
