Yesterday I had a really busy day and was just on the go.
I had a space of 2 hrs that I didn't plan anything so I told a mom from my playgroup she could come over and swim in the pool for an hour or so. Well 3 hrs later I started dropping hints. "Oh my its 3 already!" or "Lexie is getting tired I am going to change and put her down for her nap." or When grandma called about dinner I answered the phone and told her I would try and leave in the next few minutes. AND STILL no movement. I started cleaning the mess her kids made while Lexie slept and she finally got the point when I said "Looks like its the moms job to pick up all the toys while the kids watch." She finally left after 4 1/2 hrs.
I have no clue how to tell someone to "GET OUT". Anyone else have this problem? Or suggestions?

Wow, she didn't take any hints, did she?
I would probably say something like, "Well thanks so much for coming over, we had a great time. I hate to cut the party short but we have somewhere to be, something to do, etc"
I would hope she would get the hint with that!
I have no problem telling people when they need to go.
Sheesh!
Plus when Grandma came over to help get me and Lexie out to dinner. GM gave a glare and glare and nothing happened.
But when they were finally getting their shoes the boy said something funny.
GM: "Do you need help tying your shoes?"
Boy: "No I leave them tied and push my foot in. My mom doesn't like to bend over."
GM and I couldn't stop laughing.
