Feeling Guilty

I am feeling so guilty today because I feel so lazy. I live in Michigan where it is below zero today--way to cold to go outside. My kids all have runny noses. We haven't even gotten out of our pajamas yet, so we are not going anywhere. I just feel really useless today, I haven't accomplished anything and the house is becoming a mess really fast (4yr. old, 2 yr old and 1 yr old--enough said I think), but I don't really care. Anybody else have days like this? I am hoping someone can make me feel better about my laziness, lol.
Kim

Sounds like you and I are having the same day! I live in Ohio, its SOO cold out here. I was in my pjs until about an hour ago, and I did absolutely nothing today except get a shower and get dressed! My apartment is a mess, laundry to be done and my Dh and I have been fighting ALL day. I HATE days like these, I feel so unproductive. I don't think I can make u feel better about your laziness, because I'm in the same boat! haha

I say good for you! Everyone should get to have lazy days, especially SAHMs. I love days when we can stay in our jammies all day and not have to go out in the cold. Don't feel guilty about it...just enjoy it : )

Well just knowing I am not the only one makes me feel alot better! At least you've gotten out of your pjs, I'm not sure that I will at all today. My dh will be so proud of me when he gets home, lol. Sorry you are fighting with yours. What part of Ohio do you live in?

I am sooo jealous!
I've had a lot of days like that (including today) since getting pg with #3... I just haven't had the energy or felt like doing much. I feel guilty when Dh comes home and everyone is still in their pj's and nothing has been done, but he is a doll and always smiles and says "it's ok honey, I'm sure you needed the rest, and I can help you on my day off."
when it's cold outside and my kids have a cold (like now), I don't give a rip about the house... my main focus is make sure the kids get plenty of rest so that they will feel better.
don't even worry about it :o)
