In the library here, they have this big felt board on the wall. The felt is just tacked to the wall! I want to do something similar in my son's playroom.

Here is my question:

Can I use any felt or is there a specific felt I need to use?

I am so at a loss here! I have no idea where to start!

Have you tried going to a teacher store?
They have all sorts of things they use at school for the public to buy.
I am sure they have felt items.

a great place to find felt is at resale shops that have a fabric section. You might be able to get a bag of felt scraps for ppl or houses, trees, cars etc for just a dollar or two. Felt is like 25 cents/ 8x11 sheet. Just an idea. :) Great place to look for fabric for doll clothes too...and dont forget the remanent section at the craft store.
