The well guy was out at the house for a long time yesterday, found 3 more water lines they haven't been chlorinating and did some other new stuff.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Thursday is an all-around good day for your family!

I can't believe that he just NOW noticed that there were three more water lines that needed to be treated. Grrrr.....

Not the great day we were hoping for. The well came back at a 1 and it has to be under 1. So we are going to try a different lab and their suggestions. They wanted to do a pass fail on the water since it was so close so I got to run around getting sample bottles and bleach and water samples and out to the lab, all of which are in different directions.

DH got a promotion, sort of. It is just one level up and a small pay increase so not quite what we were hoping. His new boss is a back stabbing B word so he isn't really going into a better environment. Getting promoted this time of year means he won't get a 2 rating (bigger bonus and pay increase)... IMO not worth the stress of a bad boss and other impacts but he couldn't really say no.

I'm sorry to hear about your DH's new boss, but maybe she won't be so bad. Did they sort of force him into taking the new position?

I hope the other lab's results work for you. You're so close!! How soon until you get the results back?

No he wasn't "forced" into, just told not to say no. He's been around long enough to know if you say no to a position you might not get the opportunity again. So he'll ride it out and hopefully he'll get moved or she will... he's taking it as an opportunity to manage upward.

Waiting on the other lab right now... if it fails we will be cleaning out the bleach at the store.

Nope they confirmed there is still bacteria so we get to bleach the heck out of it this weekend. This other lab says they have had really great results with their method so we'll see what 7 gallons of bleach can do.

Yep, turned on the hoses this morning and I'm hoping to get a sample after I pick up Luke from pre-k . If the bleach is gone I can run it down to the lab this afternoon and we'll hear back tomorrow.
