Ok...so DH and I are starting marriage counseling but not until next week, but decided to leave Dylan at my parents for the evening so we can go to the city and do some Target shopping.
but I'm starting to freak out a little! I know my parents can care for Dylan just perfectly fine, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to handle being away from him!!!
KWIM?

(((DEEP BREATH)))
and remember - a) he is in good hands and b) he wont let you go to school/prom/college with him so you ought to get used to it now.
Remember everyone has his best interest at heart and would do everything they can to assure his safety and well being.
BTDT 3 times, Melanie. Its really hard! But, the more you leave him, the easier it will get. Just know he is with your parents, and will be very well taken care of. And call 500 times to check on him, lol! Good luck!

I ahve yet to leave my kids with anyone other then my parents, and even then I worry the whole time about them.
I am for sure not ready to leave Nicholas, the other two I am starting to feel okay baout doing it.
Good luck and it will be ok :)
Awww. . . I just love this!! I remember those days! I actually remember crying on and off all through dinner at a restaurant with DH the first time we left Matthew (my oldest) with my ILs (and my MIL was *wonderful* with him!). Your post is too cute!! It gets easier. Now we have a Date Night tomorrow night and I can't WAIT to leave my kids, LOL!
I'm so glad you love your baby son so much :)

What mom doesn't feel that way? Hugs, hon! I never hired an actual babysitter until my oldest was 6 1/2 and my youngest was 3. Was I pathetic, or what? LOL! We always used family, until we moved about 45 mins away from them all, and it became inconvenient. So hugs to you - I know you can do it! But I also know it won't be easy.....
Hugs,
Wendy
