I'm not sure about a foot spa. I would think yes because the problems with hot tubs is raising your body temperature too high. I know it would be wonderful on tired feet.

It seems 50/50 on opinions...I want to use it so bad, my feet are really dry, it hurts to walk on one of them!

I worked at a high-end spa years ago, and the MT's were not allowed to massage womens feet that were in their 3rd trimester. My OB also advised against it. My mom used to be a MT and agrees with the above. Maybe you can soak it in warm water with epsom salt?

The reason they advise against using foot spas during pregnancy is that it has a tendency to stimulate the uterine muscles and can in some cases send you into premature labor. Note the word Can. I would ask your OB though. Now with that cut you mentioned. I can tell you first hand about cracked feet. I got a horrible crack on one of the heels and it turned into a nasty infection. That can be very dangerous so you need to get that cleaned up and keep it covered. Just clean the area real well with soap and water and then if you can stand it pour some peroxide across it let it bubble and dab dry. Then put on a dab of Neoporin and cover it up. Wear a sock. Now to keep your feet soft use vasoline and slather that on at night and cover up with socks your feet will be baby soft before long. Going barefoot while you are pregnant is not a good idea along with walking outside without shoes. My infection that I got was so nasty and it started to travel up my leg. I could have lost my leg if I let it go too long. I cannot stress enough you need to get that to heal up. Have your Ob look at the next time you go in. Please. Trish :)
