Hope everyone had a great weekend.
We had a great one. Andrew had his first soccer game and we had a yard sale to get rid of some junk.
Off to go to breakfast with my moms group.
Let us know what you did for the weekend and your plans for today.

Hello, I am the proud stay at home mom of just turned 12 month old Ashley (9-19-03):0) I am new to the message boards and would welcome some company of other stay at home moms! I am really having a hard time meeting other stay at home moms to form some sort of play group. Any suggestions? Anyways in response to your question we had a fantastic weekend as it was Ashley's birthday we had lots of family and friends over to celebrate and it was a very special day, just hard a little on me knowing that my baby is now entering toddler stages. It all goes by so quickly.

thanks for listening

Ashley's proud mama!!!Melissa

Allison here.

I spent the weekend with a cold and my littlest too. But now it is better. We are just going to stay in. It is about 50 degrees here. My 3 yr old is playing robot wars with playdoh. That is all he does these days. He will talk about it constantly, all day. Sometimes wish he had a mute button(just kidding). 7 mo is just going to be practicing his moving along the floor. I love having two boys though. Just the other day it was warmer out and my oldest was running around and I had a thought that next summer I will have two little boys running around our back yard and I love that thought. I know that I was made to have little boys. I think some are made to have one sex or the other of children and then there are those that are made to have both. God bless them all.

Have a good one.

We had an awesome weekend in St. Louis! The weather was perfect! We went to the Balloon Glow at Forest Park Friday Night. And on Saturday we had a Church Party in which we spent most of our time outside. I played Badminton for the first time in maybe 10 years and loved it! I also watched my 4 year play tennis and was amazed by her talent. On Sunday we spent the day watching Football.

I am feeling alittle guilty writing this because I know so many families had a tough weekend. Our prayers and thoughts were with those families at many times over the weekend. I encourage any of those mothers hit by the hurricanes to let us know what is needed for your family.

We had a really good weekend. I feel bad for the people who are having trouble from all the bad weather though...My family is praying for you all!

Matt had his first official football game! He made a touchdown! He made a lot of yards for his team, and did a fake so well, that the quaterback was on the other side making a touchdown before anyone knew what had happened. I even thought he had the ball! LOL

Robert's and I had a wonderful "date" on friday night. The little cafe was the perfect atmospere...We just sat and talked for our 2 hours. I was so nice, we just sat and held hands and talked about everything BUT the kids. I admit it was kind of hard at first not to bring them up, we both had a couple of slip ups but we caught ourselves :)

Hope everyone is doing well...((Hugs)) for anyone who needs them!
