Gross question...sorry!

Hi,
I have a question about diarrhea. I never had to deal with this yet and I need help!
My dd came home from school today and said she had a tummy ache all afternoon. She barely made it in the door and she had to poop. It wasn't too watery but it was definitely different from her normal poop. Then her tummy ache was gone and she was even hungry a few minutes later. So I'm wondering...was this diarrhea? Do you think she just ate something that didn't agree with her? Should she just eat dinner like normal if she's feeling fine? It's been almost an hour and she hasn't had a reoccurence so I'm thinking she's probably okay but just want some other opinions.
Thanks!!
Wendy

She probably held it in for a while at school so she could wait until she got home. This would cause an upset tummy and an emergency need of the toilet when she finally got home.
If she wants to eat...let her eat!

Dairy will only make the problem worse.
