According to a "reliable source" who's watching TV in the next room, give your son Pedialyte. If he won't drink it, try the Pedialyte popsicles. You can also try Gatorade. If he still has diarrhea, give him the BRAT Diet: Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast (unbuttered, but you can spread applesauce on it).
My "reliable source" ;) says if he's peeing and producing tears when he cries, he's not dangerously dehydrated. He's probably lacking energy because it took a lot out of him to fight off the virus, and not because he's too dehydrated.
