Anyone ready yet!?! We decided today to go as The Incredible's!!! Gonna make the costumes with red t-shirts and iron on logo, red tights, black wind shorts, black gloves, black boot shoe covers made from black fabric and black masks made from black fabric too.

It'll be fun. The kids get to wear them to the school carnival - I think Bryan and I will dress too - and then get to wear them at school for the costume parade and then of course on Halloween and it's all something that can be worn later on if wanted. Figuring it'll cost me about $60 to outfit all five of us. Not bad!

That is such a cute Idea... We take costume picking very seriously around here..LOL. Before I go to sleep I wanted to share one of my favorite pics of the kids in their halloween costumes, at granny's house. Matt is four in this pic and Nick is just 2 weeks old...OMG my baby is going to be THREE next month..sniff..sniff.

Please tell me you didn't make that costume!!!! I will roll over and die if you did!!!! Heck, I can barely sew a darn button on my dh's shirt!!!!

Adorable though!

I just bought my dh's 1st offical halloween costume. She will be a bunny. Last year was her first halloween, but we spent it on a ferry going to a resort get away with our friends, and she was only 5months old anyway. This year should be fun! I can't wait to eat the candy!!!!

I love to sew and would rather a good quality costume than spend $$ on some cheap and cheesy looking one! Sorry don't mean to offend anyone - I just like to sew.

These are the one's that I have done:

DD 1st Halloween - Lamb (Hand made)

DD 2nd Halloween - Itsy Bitsy Spider (Bought due to DD being finicky and not enough time to make)

DD 3rd Halloween - Butterfly (Bought due to bed rest w/pregnancy)

DD 4th Halloween/DS 1st Halloween - Tinker Bell and Peter Pan (Hand made)

DD 5th Halloween/DS 2nd Halloween - Snow White and Bob the Builder (Bought due to finicky children and not enough time to make)

DD 6th Halloween/DS 3rd Halloween - Little Bo Peep and Buzz Lightyear (Hand made)

DD 7th Halloween/DS 4th Halloween - Went to party as Three LIttle Pigs w/just faces painted but our third little pig was still in my belly so I wore a shirt that showed off my belly and painted the pig face there =} and then on Halloween - Jesse Riding Bullseye and Zurg and a Giraffe (Bought due to new house move and couldn't find my machine yet)

(Sorry - it got me to thinking of what they were each year)

This year is going to be so easy though!!! At first we were going as Dorothy w/Toto, Tinman, Scarecrow, Lion and Glenda the Good Witch - but they weren't very set on that yet so I threw out some ideas and The Incredible's won the vote!!
