Having a break down

Ok,I feel soo overwhelmed with our new house and the move, which is suppose to take place this weekend. We have nothing packed yet and no boxes...I have a TON of laundry, but DH says not to get quarters to do at our apartment, wait until we buy our washer/dryer and do the laundry at the house( we have a weeks worth of laundry piled up!) He's driving me absolutely crazy. Why would I bring all those dirty clothes there, like I'm going to have time to do laundry while we're moving! Does that make sense? And everything in our house is SOO old, we have to replace a lot of things, already put on a new door, new faucet in the bathub and bathroom sink. Which is really stressful, everything seems to be wrong.
So, I went to use our phone this morning, and its disconnected..Dh disconnected it, so they activated the line in the house. So, I go to the house today, and the phone company hasnt hooked up the phone yet..which is just wonderful, because now I dont have a phone.
So, I'm all stressed and taking some of it out on Dominic, so I just left the house and came back here. I'm soo upset, just don't know what to do at this point, and our apartment is an absolute wreck, nothing it cleaned or put away. Please help, I can't take much more.

Big hugs!!!

You need to take baby steps. If you have to, set a kitchen timer for 15 minutes and pick one thing to take care of. After the 15 minutes is up...take a break, drink some water or even do some yoga breathing. You can't ignore it since you have so much to do...so don't let the overall picture overwhelm you. Just do one step at a time!

You can do it Kate!!

p.s. Dominic is probably feeling your stress, use some of those breaks to take him outside for 15 minutes...have him wash some of his outside toys or inside toys to take to the new house...this might keep him busy!

Good luck! Check back in with us and let us know how you are doing.

Kate I wish I was where I could come help you!!!

Personally I would at least get a couple of loads done (whatever clothes you need the most) so that you don't have quite so much to do this weekend... Heaven knows you're going to be busy enough!

Put on some "happy" music, eat some ice cream or something to treat yourself, and follow Traci's 15 minute plan. Hang in there!!! We're always here for for a hug!!!

Kate, (((Hugs)))! Moving stinks, no two ways about it. Plus you're pregnant so you can't help as much as you would probably like to. I think Traci gave you some great advice. Just tell Mike how much easier it would be and how much better you would feel if you could at least get a load or 2 of laundry done. Just take a deep breath, don't stress yourself out too bad and keep repeating this too shall pass, lol. Always helps me.

Poor Kate, I am sorry your going through this. Just take a deep breath and relax. Take baby steps like Traci said. I think we should all fly to you and help out instead of just sitting here typing...lol. I know it is easy to feel overwhelmed, but just take care of yourself and don't get over stressed. Remember your carrying precious cargo. Big HUGS to ya!
