My baby nephew is driving me nuts these past couple of weeks. He has been drinking the cats water! He gets down on the floor like he is a doggy and just helps himself! He is 16 months old and I don't know how to solve the problem..and okay before you say it I know that I could not put the water out, but our cat is thirsty all the time!

Does anyone know of any bowl or anything that could help prevent this.

I am a very vigilant person, but he just randomly goes and does it! I put out three cups for him...one in the kitchen, one in the living area and one in the school room. I put water, juice, milk and other good stuff for him but he will go straight to the cats bowl. lol

I added a cute pic of him in the time out chair for not listening when I said to stop...lol. He liked the time out chair! LOL Notice the devilish red hair and mischievous eyes!

Oh my Lordy!!!! He's being a boy hon. We don't have inside pets thank goodness or I am sure that the FOOD would be disappearing as well =} How long is he at your house for during the day? What about putting the cat carrier on top of the washer, or some other place accessible to the cat and putting it's water bowl in there? It's a start - at least it's just water!!

Good luck with it though...LOL

I just HAD to laugh!!!

First of all, he ia adorable!, Secondly, my 16 month old dd just did the same thing yesturday!!!! I couldn't believe it! She watched the dog drink his water, and looked at me, then got on all fours, crawled to the bowl, looked at me again, then put her lips on the water and waggled her tounge around. It was so funny!!! I have a doggy door on our slidding pation door that my dog goes in and out of. I have now put his water dish out there, so he can access it, and not dd...but she sure is trying to get out the door, I've had to pull her little butt out of there a few times already!

Traci, I dont have a cat but I have to keep my dogs water shut in the bathroom... the dogies only get to drink at night(poor babies)I also have to put their bowls up when Gracie is awake. My MIL has a cat and she keeps water in all the sinks in the house for him to drink out of. I thought that was a good idea. Just puts the plug in and puts about 2 inches of water in each sink.

LOL! That is hilarious! I'm sorry i know you're looking for a solution but it's just too funny!! I don't have that problem, but my cats (before we moved to England) always drank from the bathroom sink. They loved it! try it if you don't mind wipeing a little kitty hair off of the sink when you go to use it. A little tip to get your cat to enjoy getting on the sink counter was to put some ice cubes in there! :)
