Do you leave your windows open? If you do, dust can blow in. Does your vacuum have a hepa filter? Is it dustier after you vacuum? Maybe dust a few hours after or the next day after vacuuming. Do you run a ceiling fan or have pets? More traffic in and out of your house than most?

Maybe if you can find out where it is coming from you can control it.

I hope this helps.

It can also be the source of your heat in the home. Your filter may beed to be changed.

Have you tried dusting from top to bottom?
I also know of a duster sold by FlyLady that really does work. Keeps the dust where it should be and not back on to the stuff you are cleaning.

Hi!

Over the past 4 years I've become the Biggest Neat Freak! So I know your agony over the 'dust' issue. First I will tell you the biggest thing that has cut down on a LOT of dust. How often do you change your air filters in your house and which ones do you use? When we built our house 4 1/2 years ago we used the cheapy blue air filters..then we decided to spend a little extra $ and bought the really thick white ones..Filtrete, i think they are called. WHat a Difference!! They are white when we put them in and we change them every 2 months or so. When they come out they are BLACK. That's the dust getting caught in the air filters that would otherwise end up on a dust rag!
I also quickly dust everday while DD #1 is at school and while DD#2 is napping. I have used Pledge but by the end of the day - a little dust. I sell products that carry a great Furniture polish and it has helped to 'repel' plenty of dust as well.. of course, that dust goes right to the floor.

Do you use one of those Holmes mini air purifiers? We do use one once ina while and they collect dust as well.

Those are my suggestions - but the Air Filter is a MUST (you willl notice a big improvement!) It won't STOP the dustbunnies..but it will certainly help!
Good Luck!
Pam
