but I've missed spending time with all of you. I've mostly been busy helping dh put in our front sidewalk. We needed to get all of the gravel moved off our driveway that we had delivered (11 tons) so that our driveway can be put in. I'm so tired of dirt being dragged into my house. It will be heaven when this is all complete. We have 2000 pavers to put in, and then my front walk will be complete. The major, expensive landscaping stuff will be done this summer. Next summer we can actually focus on plants, trees and bushes. In the meantime, we have just been busy getting ready for school to start (Thursday) and doctor's appointments (I needed to be put back on my Nexium for my acid reflux), helping out my neighbor (who is doing amazingly well), and other miscellaneous stuff. I hope that once the girls start school on Thursday, I will find a little extra time to hang out with all of you. I will be home by myself, all day, every day. That is going to be weird. I will go do recess duty at school every day (which I get paid for), but other than that, it will be me, myself and I. Last year, Molly was 1/2 day kindy, so at least she was home with me in the p.m. I will need to get used to this. My baby starts all day school, and I will miss her so much. Sigh - I knew it would happen sooner or later, but it seems like it was sooner, rather than later, LOL! I'll need a hug or two on Thursday.
I hope to see more of all of you, sorry I've been so busy!!
Hugs,
Wendy, Katie & Molly

Wendy,
sounds like you've been really busy! Glad to have you back.
Lesley
I've missed you Wendy!!!
So glad to hear that your friend is doing well... is she having any repercussions from the surgery at all? I think you mentioned before that she may have problems with short term memory, and had to learn to eat again (I can't quite remember).
I hear ya on missing your baby... Natalie started kindergarten and is gone ALL day :o(
She is having some issues due to the surgery, and is not a happy gal. She has regained much of her balance, and rarely uses her walker. However, the eye that had to have the weight put in it is a constant source of pain for her - it is dry, due to non-functioning tear ducts. She is still frustrated on the eating front, but doing o.k. She has surgery scheduled for Sept. 9, that is basically plastic surgery, to repair some of the damage done to her face. It won't be perfect, but it will still help. That may take quite some time before she actually achieves the final results (1 yr?). Sigh. It may help her with keeping food in her mouth, and drinking - she can only use a straw right now. It is nice to have her around tho. We still talk alot, and are planning a night together with the kids tonight, since both the daddies have plans. Should be fun. And, I can help her out with getting baths for the young 'uns. Thanks for asking about her.
Hugs to you and your sweetie - all day Kindy!! Yikes! Katie had all day Kindy when we lived in our old house, but she had half day 4K, and was an October birthday, so she was a whole year ahead of Molly (age/grade wise). It made a huge difference.
Talk to you soon!!
Wendy
It is good to hear from you.
It sounds like your friend is doing well, I am glad to hear it.
I bet you are going to love your walkway! My Dh fixed ours for the same reason, all the dirt being dragged in.
((Big Hugs)) for Thursday! Bring your tissue's lol
Thanks as well for letting us know about your neighbor. I am glad she is doing well.
Have fun when school starts. I hope both the girls have a blast Thursday.
