Hi ladies! I have a question for anyone currently baby-sitting children in your home. I am going to start watching a newborn in my home, the parents are sort of friends of ours. Our husbands used to work together. I was wondering, how do i fit in my prenatal appts. & things like that? The baby would be picked up at 5:30pm. I don't think my obgyn has appts past 6pm, and it takes me 30 mins. to get there. Would it be a huge problem for the mom or dad to get off work early once a month? -chrissy

Have you though of just bringing the other child to your appt?
Do you think they would mind, do you mind?
I know a friend who watches another kid and she takes him to the places she has to go to during the day.

Well, right now I am only caring for my baby nephew.

But I used to teach pre-k out of my home. I had a few substitutes in case I had a doctor appointment or something that the children just could not go to.

I got subs through my church, these were women who did childcare during church services. You could also put an add at a college
