i wanted to ask if anyone could reccomend some websites to get school work(i cant think of a better word to describe it) but my nephew is temporarily being homeschooled til some things get worked out. my SIL found some books at walmart but she wants more than just a few pages a day to fill his time.
he's done 1st grade but the only books we found were from grades 1-3.

if someone can help that would be great

thanks so much

I am a lurker for the most part, and I am not personally a homeschool Mom, but know several people that are. Everyone that I know starts out with A Beka - I found a link that has used books at a discounted price. I would go to the official site first to get the whole curriculum info and then go to the other site.

Hope this helps,

Well I have done a lot of searching for "Free Curriculum" and all I can up with is sites that give you ideas for things to do with your child. They do have a few sites with ditto type sheets, but only for the really young. I would suggest that if you do want a curriculm to maybe look at Ebay or the Library may have something to help. Also Amazon has a book called Homeschooling on a shoe string budget and how to homeschool for free. Maybe look into those. I am gonna check those out myself.
