Poor Katie - woke up this a.m. not feeling well and has red spots all over - I called the nurse on-line and described the situation and she says it sounds like that is what it is.

Poor Katie!! If the vaccine didn't take it's best she find that out now, though. Fingers crossed that Molly doesn't get it.

I thought that the vaccine just lessened your chances I didn't think it was a preventative. An that if you did get them that you would get your symptoms and the pox themselves wouldn't be that bad. Sorry to hear and I wish you all well.

{{{{{((Katie))}}}}}} (Those are hugs inside a bubble. hehe) I hope all of you feel better soon!

We'd never get sick of you, Wendy! :) At least the weather is a little better, right? My parents are in Green Bay, and even they're getting just rain and a little wind. Good luck to Katie on not itching! :)

I hope Katie feels better soon. I know what you mean about them not wanting you to actually bring the child in, I went through the same thing with 3 of my kids.

My 1st dd got chicken pox in kindergarten(age 5), and my son (who was 4) and other daughter (18 mos) caught it from her. The 18 month old got the worst of it, she was COVERED all over her body...poor thing.

Then they came out with the shot which my 2 youngest dds have gotten, and so far neither of them has gotten chicken pox.

Hope Katie doesn't get it too bad, and hopefully Molly won't catch it at all!
