Took them out of thier crib, and let them sleep in an actual bed?

My dd is 1.5 yrs, and for the last few weeks has been refusing to go into her crib, not even for her nap. I have let her fall asleep in our bed, then transfer her to the crib, but she has caught on to that trick now, so she refuses to sleep at all. Last night we were up until about 1:00am, when I finally caved and brought her to bed with us. Today for her nap time, I made a bed on the floor in her room, and that seemed to work so far! Isn't she a little young to be out of a crib? I am worried that if she wakes up in the middle of the night she will just get up and start playing with her toys. Should I just get rid of the crib, or are there any tips that might get her back in it?

Hi,
My son was about 2 when we bought him a twin bed. He hated his crib, and he was basically sleeping with us every night. My Dh kept telling me to buy him a bed and he will sleeep in it. But I didnt listen to him, thought my som was too young for a twin bed. Ever since we got him his bed, he LOVES IT! We bought him spiderman(his favorite) sheets, comforter, blanket, etc..Either me or my husband sleeps in there with him until he falls asleep and he will sleep the whole night! So far he has never gotten up and played with his toys.
It was the best thing we have ever done, I recomend getting a bed for her!

My son was 2 when we moved him, he hated his crib, to confined, so we purchased a twin bed with safty rails that kep t him form falling out. And this makes it easy if he spend the night somewhere, he can use a regular size bed. good luck !!

I have a 1yr old DS and have similar problems. We even tore his crib down a couple months ago bc it basically just took up space. My DS was deathly ill and we just let him sleep with us so I could keep a better eye on him. He has epilepsy on top of everything else. Now its getting to be a big hassle to sleep. Last nite he climbed out of bed and tried to run around our room. DH and I werent asleep yet so we caught him. But now that looks like a whole new box of problems. I and my DH think he should start sleeping on his own. But I am afraid I and DH ( who goes to work 5:30am) will be up all nite. He also drinks 24 oz over nite!!!! I usually give him 2 juice and then a milk. He doesnt like baby cereal and wont let me feed him. I thought of oatmeal but I think he would play with it. He down right refuses to eat if you try to feed anything to him. He holds a spoon and feeds himself. He is highly independent except for naps and bed time. He instantly wakes up once you lay him down. It use to be funny but now I have a cranky 1 yr old when I try to get chores done. I.E Ive been up since 4:30 am trying to get somethings out of the way. He attacks me when I am on the computer so I have to do it while he is sleeping in MY bed. I know I shouldnt let him run the show but we almost lost him 4 different times and I cant help myself. I put gates up everywhere bc he has always screamed his butt off if put in a playpen. I have created a monster I know. Can anyone help me tame him?

I believe Andrew was a little over 1 years old. I know it was way before he was 2.
He did real good, fell off a few times, but you can buy a bed with a half rail in one side.
Why don't you jusy geta
