Thankfully my husband finally left for work today! I love him dearly and I love it when he is home in the mornings, but today he has a little cold. I don't know about any of your dhs, but he is the most annoying sick person ever! His nose is running a little and his throat is a little scratchy and he acts like he is dying. It drives me crazy!!

Well, I love him anyway and hopefully this won't last long. It is just so annoying that he is such a baby about being sick...especially when he isn't that sick. I think that it is just a guy thing though...I know I don't get away with it LOL!

Take care ladies,

Gen

Poor Gen! My Dh is the same way..lol. He only gets sick maybe once a year and you would think he is on his death bed! He whines like a 2 year old!

Just an idea but to keep everyone healthy, when someone is sick in my house i very gently simmer about 3 cups of water to a half cup of lysol on the stove for about 3 days. This really helps keep everyone else healthy!

Hope your dh gets well soon.

My dh is the same way! He even takes it one step further and the second our ds gets a runny nose he starts sulking around because he's "starting to get sick. I know I'm going to get this!" Even if he never even gets sick he STILL gets a few days of acting like a baby in. MEN!

Well, you know what they say:

If men had to have children, the human race would die out in one generation!

It must be a male thing - cause my husband always takes it to the extreme. He also plays it up to use it as an excuse to get out of things. His mother must have let him get away with it - cause he's horrible. The tiniest little sore throat and he calls in sick and veges (not rests, or sleep or take any medicine what-so-ever). I love him but I hate this little game he plays.

Thank you all! It is so nice to know that he is not the only one out there that drives us wives crazy! I hope that I can raise my son to not be such a baby LOL!

Thank you again and he is feeling a little better now...at least until next time.

Thanks~Gen

My dh is the exact same way, it's definately got to be a "guy" thing. When my dh is sick he moans and groans about how bad he feels and will park himself on the couch and not want to do anything, luckily this only happens about 1 time a year. I hope your husband feels better very soon.
