Ok...so I was almost hyperventilating at the thought of leaving my DS with my parents for three hours...but you all would be proud of me, I only called once!
DH and I spend most of the time (the drive was 1 hour each way) talking about US and our relationship, so I didn't have alot of time to worry about Dylan.
The bummer is that unless some great miracle happens, we are probably going to be separate, and probably sooner rather than later.
but Dylan did swimmingly with my mum, I shouldn't have doubted it for a moment...after all she did manage to raise the four of us! And, she is only 45, so it's not like she needs a cane to get around or anything! hehe.
Anyway, I was able to get to Target and get the jogging stroller I wanted, so I can keep losing the baby weight (45 lbs so far, woohoo!), and also get him a boppy because he really does sleep better propped up a little. I also picked up more pampers because I was trying huggies and I really like pampers better!!
So I did it, and we were all okay!! heh. thanks for all your support. ;D

Sorry things are not going well with your husband. Hope the counsiling goes well for you both.
Melanie, I'm really sorry to hear about your marriage. Having a baby can be a big stressor. I'm still hoping you guys work things out, if anything for Dylan's sake. Maybe a period of separation will help. Keep talking--communication is so key in a marriage (not that I'm the expert or anything, but it works for us).
I'm glad things went OK leaving Dylan, too. I'm sure your mom is perfect with him (she is so young!! My mom is 63!). It's nice that you have that. I don't trust my mom with my kids for 2 minutes, and my wonderful MIL passed away.
