I feel really bad...

As you may know, my dh & I finally bought a home, and are doing renos on it before we can move in. It is in a city about a 40 minute drive from where we live now. At this point we can't have dd there, she is 17 months, and good luck painting a wall with her around!!!! Also, the carpets have all been pulled out, so there are all those nasty tack/nail things everywhere. So she has been at my moms, dh's sister (who has 2 kids of her own, and is building a house), or dh's dad (which scares me....his mom died last year, and his dad is kind of, well, not the ideal babysiter!!!), she has also been to fil's girlfriends house (which is good.) but poor dd.... she usually goes to bed at 9:00pm, and gets up at 9:30am. Now she has been going to bed at 11:30pm-12:00am, and waking at 3:30am.

It's all our fault, but we need to get the house done, so we can move. How do i make this easier on her?? Any thoughts???

I would just suggest you find someone who is able to take care of her well. A place that is stable for her to stay at.
Keep her routines if you can so she does not get out of them.
Good luck on the home.

Lesley,

If at all possible I would leave her with the same person each time, but kids are pretty resilent. Don't stress yourself to much about it.
