I hate when my husband leaves. I get spoiled for 3 weeks and then he has to leave. We had to get up at 4am to get him to the airport at 5am. I hate having to drag the kids out like that. I just wish I had tons to do while he was gone to keep my mind off of him being gone.
Sorry, Mel! I'm sure it sucks without him around! But, on the bright side u have all of us! Do u have any house projects to do? Do u sew or knit, scrapbook? Hmm... I don't know. I guess I'm not very helpful, LOL!
No, you are very helpful. I do have all of you ladies and that is a good thing. I have a few friends here, but none that I can talk to like I do on here. I wiosh I had something to keep me busy, other then the kids, but that gets old after awhile. Know what I mean? Good thing we have the homeschool thing, that keeps me busy for a few hours a day, but after that, its quite boring.
Mel, Sorry to hear your husband left again today. I can only imagine how hard it must be for you...I go a little stir crazy when my husband is gone for just a day or two. My husband traveled quite a bit last year (no more than a week at a time though). Nights and weekends were the hardest for me because all my mom friends were doing things with their hubbys. It helped just to get out and do something fun every day...even just the park or the library. Maybe you'll even meet another mom who's husband is out of town alot : ) I hope the time goes quickly! Wendy

hey Mel,
you're in Georgia right? Have you looked into homeschool support groups? I found a link that lists several organizations by regions http://homeschoolcentral.com/support/georgia_homeschool.htm
Mel - I'm sending you some "I hope these 3 weeks go by really fast" vibes! What profession is your husband in that takes him away every 3 weeks?
Melissa
Thanks for the link.
