It's called a Q-tip and store brand bleach for us SAHM who need to save some money! I was just dong the laundry and there was a coupon on there for the pen. That's funny. I do enjoy some of the lazy inventions though. Like the Swiffer Vac. I thought it had the mop on it too, but it doesn't. So, I bought the Clorox ready mop! And yes, I refill it with my own Pinesol and water! I love to pinch pennies! Anyone else have some penny pincher ideas?

I use vinegar and baking soda alot! I also use a q tip instead of a bleach pen. :)

I have found that sometiems using the more expensive brands can save you money...for instance dawn dish detergent is the most concentrated and a tiny amount goes a long way. I use dawn to clean my window. using a 8 ounce spray bottle I put 4 to 5 drops of dawn

Thats a good idea about making your own windex, so to speak.
I will have to try the dawn and water to make the spray. Not that I clean windows much since they dirty up so fast. I might now

Oh, I defintely know what you mean about the expensive brands! I use Cascade Complete because you actually don't have to rinse! It really works! Im kinda lazy when it comes to the dishwasher and know I have an 11 year old that I can put to work emptying it! I used to use Tide until they decided to charge more for less. It used to be 40 loads and now it went down to 30 something and they kept the price the same. I felt tricked! I know use Surf. I did like Tide though, it really worked for not fading the clothes.

Oh and that reminded me! lol If you want your shirts to stay newer looking for far longer, don't put them in the dryer except for a fluff up...but if you do this you really need to use the liquid softner. I learned this from my Dh's grandma. When I first met dh, he had shirts from the fith grade that still looked brand new! lol My kids t-shirts look brand new and almost never fade.
